The original problem occurred the first time after I loaded a Win 7 32 image into Win 7 64 (drive letter was Z). Tens of seconds the startup goes apparently normally (loading the large ramdisk, which takes order of 40 seconds when it succeeded before), but then it BSODs/reboots.
