- This is from the Corporate side of the house where this setting is actually useful and you generally have tons of users who might have access to a machine.
- So the computer's been in sleep mode, usually for at least an hour.

Choose More power options. Windows 10 Require Password On Wakeup Greyed Out And yes, you can use it to switch to network users. I hope this helps, it worked for me. -drumbokas edit: my user account does not require a password, and I have a guest account that is off.

I tried adding one in Keyboard to bring up the Login Window and assigning it to F13 using Finder as the application, but it wouldn't work. Even at 3 & 4, it'd take them about 2 times and they'd get the hang of it.
