My card is a GTX470, one other note, I downloaded the demo from FilePlanet and it ran fine, it could be the Steam version has some corrupted files. psugrad199910-09-2010, 01:21 AMTried it, makes absolutely no difference. however had same problem of it hanging on the windows logo on start up and it did not complete the installation. I have been a fanboy of the civ series since Civ 1 on the Amiga! It tells me DX10/11 is recommended, but the game refuses to load the DX10/11 mode. I get to the E logo that states press Del or F12 but neither key does anything.
If I run the game in DX10/11, I can play for a few minutes without any problems whatsoever, and then out of nowhere (usually when I scroll across the page, but All of the posts are still here, there are just more of them on each page. :) Well then, that's me silenced quite spectacularly. then pull any extra cards..if there onboard video pull the gpu.
