I've successfully printed from other win xp machines so I know the printer is set up correctly. Open it with a dobule click and it will import the setting for you :) Luck! Could XP firewall or something else on the XP Desktop be blocking access? Write a different program for office networks.

For example, this is not the best place to use text-messaging style abbreviations. BTW, the change to Group Policy mentioned above did not help in my situation.
