Switching to Linux Will Be Easy If You Know This Linux Tired of Windows? If I clicked on any other line, the line that I needed to be selected would highlight, anyway. This is a problem because there is nothing there and if I try to reinstall ubuntu it will not allow me to boot in to xp. This methot just worked prefecty :D!
Just built my first rig. You need to do something like "bcdedit /default ##GUID of your XP install##". The wizard copies its files and unpacks fine. In XP, go to “Start” and “Run”. Make sure the XP CD is SP2 (or whichever service pack you're running), otherwise it may cause problems. This myth of GNU/Linux is just that, a myth!
